The General Education (GE) Board is offering all students the chance to be entered into a raffle for one of two $50 Visa gift cards, as a token of thanks for participating in the GE assessment process.
General Education assessment is important because it helps the College determine whether students are developing mastery over course content and skills. It is also required for New Paltz to remain an accredited institution of higher education.
For students, assessment is not a test and is not graded, and no advance study or preparation is required. The deadline to participate is Thursday, April 29.

Once you’ve completed your assessment, you’re automatically entered into the raffle (and students who have already done the assessment have already been entered).
The GE Board thanks the SUNY New Paltz Foundation for providing the funds to support this incentive. The winners will be announced on April 30, after the assessment deadline has passed.
