- You may select up to three (3) focus areas.
- If you are selecting more than one focus area, rank the focus areas based on the relevance to your topic (one (1) being most relevant)
- If you are not selecting more than one focus area, select the drop-down and select one (1).
- Listen and Learn: More traditional format. One-way communication and does not involve a lot of audience participation.
- Examples include: Presentations, Lightning Talks, Featured Sessions, etc.
- Participate and Share: This format involves the audience in some way
- Examples include: Posters, Ask me Anything's, Panels, etc.
- Engage and Connect: This format is designed to share information in an informal setting with high engagement between attendees and speakers.
- Examples include: Tech Meetups, Level up Labs (Workshops), Mentoring Circles, etc.
Note: If accepted, AnitaB.org will work with you to determine the final format based on our 2022 strategy and the needs of our audience. Examples: Curating a panel from multiple submissions, elevating a poster to a presentation, asking a submitter to facilitate a conversation in context of a mentoring circle or networking session.
Important: If you select Participate and SHare and Engage and Connect, you must inlcude aspects of audience interaction in the outcomes section of this form.
Note: If accepted, AnitaB.org will work with you to determine the final format using your response below, our 2022 strategy and the needs of our audience. You may be asked to consider a format you did not originally select.

- Tell the reviewers how the submitter(s) gained the experience as it relates to the topic
- Detail the processes, procedures, or research done as it relates to the topic
- What methods were used
- Surveys, interviews, experiments, etc.
Helpful information to include:
- Explain the outcomes/results/conclusion of the methodology/experience you detailed
- Demonstrate the importance of your idea.
- Highlight key points in your work/experience
- Answer why your topic is important with supporting evidence
- Elaborate on the significance of the outcomes/results/conclusion
- Convey the larger implications of your experience/work
These outcomes should relate directly to what attendees should expect to walk away with. Include what attendees can expect to gain from your session and how your session would benefit them.
Note: If you select Participate and Share or Engage and Connect submission formats, audience interaction of some form should be included in the outcomes.
