Preferred Submission Format
AnitaB.org has grouped formats into the following categories. Please review each carefully and select the format that best fits your interests.

  • Listen and Learn: More traditional format. One-way communication and does not involve a lot of audience participation.
    • Examples include: Presentations, Lightning Talks, Featured Sessions, etc.
  • Participate and Share: This format involves the audience in some way
    • Examples include: Posters, Ask me Anything's, Panels, etc.
  • Engage and Connect: This format is designed to share information in an informal setting with high engagement between attendees and speakers.
    • Examples include: Tech Meetups, Level up Labs (Workshops), Mentoring Circles, etc.

Note: If accepted, AnitaB.org will work with you to determine the final format based on our 2022 strategy and the needs of our audience. Examples: Curating a panel from multiple submissions, elevating a poster to a presentation, asking a submitter to facilitate a conversation in context of a mentoring circle or networking session.

Important: If you select Participate and SHare and Engage and Connect, you must inlcude aspects of audience interaction in the outcomes section of this form.
