Turnitin Training and Updates

Join us for a Turnitin training session for instructors on September 14th from 2:00pm - 4:00pm (actual training will likely be shorter, but extra time is allotted for questions).  In addition to helpful hints for using Turnitin, the trainer will also cover some new features included with our campus license effective this fall.  

Turnitin is an assignment submission tool that is integrated through our learning management system (Blackboard).  Turnitin checks submitted papers for originality by cross-referencing papers with the internet, databases, and previously submitted student content and provides detailed information about where and how this content is used in your students' work.  Additionally, Turnitin is a great platform for commenting on student submissions and providing feedback through premade or custom comments and rubrics.
