Aston, Pa. – Stockton University (4-2) won all five matches that were contested for a 5-4 victory over Neumann University (4-2). The shorthanded Ospreys forfeited three matches and dropped one by retirement.
Carlee Cristella (Mantua/Clearview) and
Jamie Theophall (Egg Harbor Twp./EHT) shut out their opponents 8-0 in doubles.
Sophia Pasquale (Galloway/Holy Spirit) and
Kierstyn Fenimore (Tabernacle/Seneca) posted an easy 8-1 win.
Pasquale dropped just one game in a 6-1, 6-0 singles victory. Fenimore and Cristella won their singles contests by scores of 6-4, 6-0 and 6-2, 6-2 respectively.
Stockton will host Chestnut Hill in a nonconference match on Thursday at 4:00 p.m.
