The Michigan Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC) is a community of educators and partners in learning dedicated to advancing the success of students with exceptionalities in Michigan. As a local CEC Unit, the mission of MCEC is to strengthen the field of education to impact success for individuals with exceptionalities by providing professional development, support, and advocacy for children, youth, families, special, and general educators.
