The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 23-27 January 2023.

Lyle Bozarth, 83, of Port Angeles, Washington, passed away 13 January 2022. He was a retired minister who served in North Dakota. He is survived by his wife, Joann Bozarth.

Jong Wha Kim, 85, of Corona, New York, passed away 11 January 2022. He has been the pastor of Valley Stream Korean Church of the Nazarene since 1988. He is survived by his wife, Myung Kim.

Helen Newhall, 85, of Belmont, New Hampshire, passed away 19 January 2023. She was a retired minister, who served in Massachusetts. She is the widow of Preston Newhall, a retired minister who served in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Preston passed away in 2009. 

Donald Pauley III, 69, of South Charleston, West Virginia, passed away 18 January 2022. He was a minister who served at South Charleston First Church of the Nazarene, with previous service in West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Leisa Pauley.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
