Stockton Records Sixth Consecutive Win, 6-0

Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (6-1-1) scored three goals in a 15-minute span of the first half and cruised to its sixth consecutive win, 6-0 over John Jay (2-3) at G. Larry James Stadium. Ten Ospreys recorded a point in the victory.

Jessica Heitmann (Rockaway/Morris Knolls) got the scoring started by converting a feed from Sydney Williams (Millville/Millville) with 15:12 gone in the game.

Just over six minutes later Susan Porambo (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) chased down a 50-50 ball sent into the box by Emily Hauck (Lebanon, Pa./Northern Lebanon) and doubled the lead to 2-0. Bri Honse capped the outburst of three goals in 15 minutes by volleying home a feed from Erica Dietz (Allentown, Pa./Central Catholic).

With 1:52 left in the first half, Julianna Kaiser (Tabernacle/Seneca) was fouled in the box and converted the penalty kick for her first goal since 2018 and a 4-0 Stockton advantage at the half. The Ospreys outshot John Jay 12-2 in the period.

Just 28 seconds into the second half, Kayla Rozanski (Woodbury/Woodbury) broke free down the right sideline, cut to the net with the ball and scored her first career goal to make it a 5-0 game. Two more Ospreys later recorded firsts on the final tally of the night.

Kat Soanes (Haddon Hts./Bishop Eustace) ran onto a pass into the box by Meghan Pellegrino (Somers Point/Mainland) and booted her first career goal. Pellegrino notched her first college point with the assist on the final counter in the 6-0 triumph.

A pair of Stockton goalkeepers combined on the shutout. Starter Kylee Sullivan (Jackson/Jackson Memorial) boosted her scoreless streak to 357 minutes with one save in the first half. Freshman Megan Brady (Rockaway/Morris Knolls) made two stops in the second half to complete the shutout.

John Jay goalie Cyan Scott finished with four saves for the visitors.
