Art is good, strike that, Art is great!


It’s something that has a profound effect on our health and well-being. There is nothing like finding a piece of art that speaks to you, whether it’s a photograph or a painting, a sculpture, a t-shirt or anything in between. Art is in the eye of the beholder and for every taste, there is a medium for you. Nothing lights up a space like a work of art that you truly love.

Creating art can be an incredible outlet. Few things are as liberating as taking something straight from your imagination and creating it in whatever medium you choose. Even if you’re not a trained “artist”, our opinion is there is a little Rembrandt in all of us.

For many years now we’ve been involved with The Arts Experience. Located at 2635 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo, The Arts Experience is a People Inc. program that caters to the artist in its participants. The people who attend The Arts Experience take classes in music, dance, theater, creative writing, sculpture and drawing, almost anything someone would consider “art”. The participants create it all and more to the point, display it all. The walls are covered with one of a kind works of art in every medium.

The Arts Experience has very recently began making some of these one of a kind works of art available to the general public for sale. There are many different pieces to choose from and the money goes to supporting the artists in residence to provide them with everything they need at their fingertips when inspiration hits.

The Arts Experience again, is located at 2635 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo, in the Delaware Camera Mart Plaza across from Anderson’s. The staff and artists in residence welcome you to stop by during the day during their open hours of 9:30am-2:30pm Monday through Friday to come take a look. We’re positive that something will speak to you and you’ll find that perfect piece for that one particular location in your home or office.
