Students: Use Starfish to connect to your personalized success network

As the spring 2021 semester begins, we remind all New Paltz students that Starfish is the most convenient way to connect with your personalized success network, and find the resources you need to make the most of your educational experience.

In the fall 2020 semester, academic advisors documented 9,152 student appointments through Starfish, with nearly 80% (7,321) of these appointments made by students themselves.

New Paltz faculty provided their students with a record amount of course-based feedback through Starfish, as our community continues to use this tool to support students’ learning and overall success.

Students are encouraged to complete or update their Starfish responsive intake survey (“Tell us about yourself”) as needed. That information helps the Center for Student Success offer more personalized, holistic support, and help students access the many resources available across the College, including resources for students who may be food and/or housing insecure.
