Agee Library

The Agee Library provides a quiet spot for students to do research and catch up on their homework and studies. While some school libraries have found that the Internet is supplanting the traditional library, at SAS book checkouts have been steadily climbing. SAS students are the ideal scholars, combining online resources with the printed word.

The Library contains more than 30,000 books. The Library's online catalog, plus a vast array of databases, e-books, and journals are shared with the Jesse Ball duPont Library at the University of the South. This cooperative arrangement also provides our students with access to more than 750,000 books through the University library.

In addition to its regular holdings, the Agee Library houses three private collections, the Agee Collection as well as more than 7,000 volumes from the George Garrett SMA '46 and Joe Bryant Collections, which include many signed, limited and first edition books.

Every SAS students receives on-line access to the New York Times through their own school account.
