The Chelsea Music Festival returns to lower Manhattan in its eighth annual summer season with the theme—

Measuring Time

From June 9-17th, 2017, the Festival presented nine days of events throughout the Chelsea neighborhood and beyond in a wide-ranging exploration of pulse and time through the performing, visual and culinary arts. Events featured world-class artists in music ranging from Classical to Jazz, art exhibitions, curated dinners and receptions, Family Events, Panel Talks and Lectures by noted scholars, daytime Open-Air events and more. Music included works by Telemann, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Messiaen and Cage, as well as world and New York premieres by Sebastian Currier, Tonia Ko, Miguel del Aguila, Helen Sung, Adam Birnbaum and Aaron Diehl.
