Mitch Wong and I were commissioned to write a new verse of the hymn highlighting how believers can engage in hope and faith in the midst of a broken world. This release demonstrates the power of mission and worship colliding. We celebrate a timeless hymn birthed from the mission field, that continues to bring the message of the gospel alongside practical aid to people around the world every single time it is played, bringing glory to God and love for our neighbor as we worship. We recorded this 75th anniversary version of How Great Thou Art (Until That Day) in two studios- Gold Pacific Studios in SoCal and RCA Studio B in Nashville - where Elvis recorded his classic version of the hymn.
