If selected to serve as a teen judge for the 2025 YAVA Award, I agree to the following:
1*
Adhere to the reading schedule provided to me by the Richmond Public Library YAVA Committee.*
2*
Respond to communication from the Richmond Public Library YAVA Committee in a timely manner (within 48 hours).*
3*
Read the first chapter of ALL 2025 book nominations.*
4*
Select 5 of the 2025 book nominations and read them in their ENTIRETY.*
5*
Submit 2-4 sentences for each book explaining why or why not you chose to read the book in its entirety.*
6*
Submit evaluation forms for each complete book read, including 5-8 sentence responses as to why or why not you feel this book should win the 2025 YAVA award.*
7*
Complete one additional promotional activity highlighting the 2025 YAVA Award Nominees (mood board, playlist, booktok, etc.)*
8*
Attend a final judges’ meeting on 2/4/2025 from 4-6pm via Zoom. This meeting is mandatory with no exceptions so please mark your calendar now.*
