More than 95 percent of Colorado College student-athletes competing in spring sports sponsored by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference earned a spot on the league's Academic Honor Roll.
Despite having just four SCAC sports during the spring season, the Tigers finished third overall with 89 of 93 student-athletes earning the recognition, good for a .957 percentage. Trinity, which fielded eight conference sports, finished first with 140 recipients, while Southwestern was second with 114 honorees in eight sports.Â
Colorado College averaged just over 22 honorees per team, placing the Tigers at the top of the conference for average per team.
The women's track and field team had a perfect 100 percent of players recognized, followed closely by men's track and field at 97 percent and men's tennis at 91 percent.
Women's track & field also led the CC teams with 35 selections, followed by men's track and field with 32.

Clare Quinn (women's track & field),
Lucaiah Smith-Miodownik (men's track & field) and
Dafna Williams (women's track & field) added their names to the list of 187 Tigers who earned the distinction at least four times.
All-American
James Settles, the SCAC Men's Track Athlete of the Year and Elite 19 Award winner, and
Charlotte Furman, the SCAC Elite 19 recipient for women's track, headlined CC's list of honor roll recipients who also earned all-conference honors in their respective sports.

Since the inception of the SCAC Academic Honor Roll in 1997, nearly 34,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their exemplary performances in the classroom.
