Welcome to the 2020 BMI Trailblazers of Gospel Music Awards!

Each year, we are thrilled to acknowledge the best and most talented songwriters whose devout and empowering Gospel music serves as a beacon of hope to countless listeners around the world. Today, BMI is proud to honor the exceptional artistry and accomplishments of our Gospel family with this special online ceremony. During such a difficult time, we wanted to end Black Music Month with Trailblazers and pay tribute to the long tradition of Black music’s power to affect social change and advance justice. Now more than ever, we deeply thank our winners for sharing their musical gifts that uplift, motivate and encourage us all, for their vision of hope and healing as we unite in the movement for justice, equality and change among black people. We are honored to celebrate the past year’s most impactful Gospel songwriters and publishers, as well as the 20 most-performed songs of the past year. Read on to see all of our winners, listen to their music, watch some powerful performances and heartfelt personal video messages. Congratulations to all!
