DEPENDENCE VS EXPERIENCE
In this episode Redman and Riddle discuss their personal worship leading journeys - reflecting on the importance of remaining dependent on God, no matter how much experience we may gained along the way.
-
IMMANENCE VS TRANSCENDENCE
God gets up close and personal in our lives, yet never becomes less high or holy in the process. Jeremy and Matt talk about the importance of contending for a sense of paradox and mystery in our worship.
-
HOLINESS VS HELPFULNESS
Sometimes we can tend to focus on worshipping God for the things about Him that are directly helpful to us. But there’s a deeper call - to stand back and worship Him simply for His glory and holiness. In this episode Matt and Jeremy take on this theme - asking how we can adopt a healthy, biblical balance.

Real and Needed
Man, I’ve only listened to the first episode so far but I’m just so thankful to know that two people who have made so much music that is now being used in churches across the world have such deep roots and knowledge about worship that only comes from the Word of God. I admire and respect the courage it has taken to talk about the convictions in your hearts. It’s time to get real and have these conversations about what worship is, and how we sometimes get it wrong in the body of Christ. As leaders, you said it so well that we have a responsibility to make 100% sure that everything we do is centered around the throne of Jesus. I’m so excited to share this with my worship team here in Merced, California! Thank you for making this, I can’t wait to listen to the rest.
So Insightful
Definitely 5 stars even with the quavering voice. The insight and thoughtfulness is that amazing.
Truly the heart of true worship
Genuine real worship. Thank you for saying what nobody is saying and revealing the true heart of worship.
