Singapore Changi Airport expands ChangiVerse experience

Singapore Changi Airport’s ChangiVerse is expanding and set to introduce a new game, featuring a brand-new Terminal 2 and Gardentopia, with the official launch on March 7.
Changi Airport has invited its followers to enjoy a preview of its latest gaming experience which can be accessed here.
ChangiVerse is Changi Airport’s venture into the metaverse, first launched in April 2023 on Roblox as a virtual wonderland, featuring a playful twist on the airport’s notable sights, such as Jewel Changi Airport, the distinctive control tower, outdoor dinosaur display attraction Jurassic Mile, a plane hangar, and more. The year-end festive season saw the debut of CandyVerse, a sweet and snowy addition to the realm.
Players level up by accumulating experience points and collecting butterfly tokens from a myriad of games, like Changi Kart racing, baggage claim and check-in, while unlocking access to special areas and items, such as planes and ChangiVerse-exclusive User Generated Content (UGC)/wearables for their avatar.

New features include:
- ChangiVerse’s Terminal 2: The Wonderfall greets ‘guests’ upon arrival, introducing the virtual version of the newly revamped Terminal 2. Those who have visited before will find the curves of the stucco walls and lush greenery familiar. Swing by the baggage claim hall to try out the Butterfly Catcher game and earn seeds for Gardentopia. Dash through the cascades of the Wonderfall to find yourself in a bustling atrium of eclectic stores within the Shopping Street, where you can use seeds to purchase plants with special attributes for Gardentopia. Head to Gourmet Garden and find the portal to your own secret garden to transport yourself to Gardentopia.
- Gardentopia gardening game: Modelled after Changi’s Dreamscape, Gardentopia features a sprawling garden with various Garden Bosses of different types, ranging from Fire to Rainbow, Jurassic to Cyber. Speak to them to find out what kind of plants they like and plant them nearby to increase their satisfaction level. Earn more seeds and unlock Bosses as you satisfy the requirements of each. As you plant more, you’ll also earn seeds at a faster rate, allowing you to purchase higher level plants with increased stats! Satisfy all 10 Garden Bosses and the game will reset, with new abilities that carry over the more times you complete the game, such as Seed Multiplier, Speed Boost (1 time), Easy Seed Collection (3 times), and Teleport (6 times).
- ChangiVerse-exclusive UGCs: With the defeat of each Garden Boss, there are exclusive UGCs to bag! Collect all 11, ranging in rarity from common to legendary, released in two drops: 7 March and 4 April. Grab the Firey Wings while they’re hot or play it cool in the Ice Cape. Look roar-some with your own Dino Egg Carrier or make it your time to shine in the Emerald Crown.
From March 7 to April 7 2024, Roblox players residing in Singapore can take part in the Gardentopia contest and be one of the first 100 winners to take home 10,000 Changi Rewards points (worth S$50 in Changi e-vouchers) and a S$30 Roblox gift card. Further details are available here.
