There’s so much to celebrate in the Central Eastside, from groundbreaking businesses to the partnerships shaping our community’s future. Here’s a look at some of the good news and big wins that make our district shine.

Let’s keep that energy going at this year’s Annual District Celebration! An evening of connection, conversation, and celebration featuring a delicious dinner from Vibrant Table, inspiring speakers, and a peek into upcoming projects shaping our district.

We’ve made it easy for everyone to join the fun with our sliding scale ticket prices ($75–$125). Or, sponsor a table and bring your team to toast the year’s successes together.

Central Eastside PDX has partnered with nearly 60 local businesses to launch our first-ever District Passport, created for anyone ready to shop, dine, and explore all this district has to offer, day to night.

Pick up your free passport at the designated locations, collect stamps from November 13, 2025 through September 7, 2026 to enter for prizes, and enjoy discounts along the way. Discover everything that makes the Central Eastside the place to be.

We’re proud to sponsor the European Bazaar as it returns to the Central Eastside this Black Friday and Small Business Saturday!

This year’s market is expanding into the street with even more festive food, drinks, and local vendors inspired by classic European holiday markets. Come shop over 60 vendors, sip glühwein, enjoy German food and baked goods, and celebrate the season at Goat Blocks.

The Transportation & Parking Advisory Committee (TPAC) leverages transportation and parking systems to assist, foster, and expand employment and business growth in the Central Eastside Industrial District.

Our efforts focus on improved parking management, freight mobility, ride-sharing, and public transport; facilitating bicycle and pedestrian use; and promoting sustainable measures to improve air quality and livability for district residents, employers, and employees.

Join Architectural Heritage Center for the grand opening of the groundbreaking new exhibit— exploring how Portland’s past, present, and future intersect in the way we design and imagine our urban landscape. Through a blend of historical context and forward-thinking design, Vision for the City highlights where we have been and where we are going.
