We announced nominations for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards on TODAY, with Ella Langley, Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson receiving the most nominations. Hosted by 16-time ACM Award-winning entertainment icon Reba McEntire, the 60th ACM Awards will stream live exclusively for a global audience on Prime Video on Thursday, May 8 from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. The monumental anniversary show will celebrate six decades of Country Music and feature unforgettable performances by the genre’s most legendary and multi-award-winning stars, including Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Lainey Wilson. The Academy of Country Music stands in solidarity with the victims of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, CA. We invite our Nashville Country Music community to join us in donating clothes, toiletries, and additional supplies to support relief efforts. ❤️🩹 Donations will be collected from Feb 6 to Feb 26. In addition to physical donations, ACM Lifting Lives is helping those who work in Country Music that were impacted by the wildfires and need financial assistance.

Our hearts are heavy today in learning about the passing of longtime ACM Board Member and former ACM Board Chair, and good friend to all of us, Ben Vaughn. Ben was a champion of the Country Music genre and strong advocate for songwriters and good songs, rising to President and CEO of Warner Chappell Music Nashville. He served as Board Chair of the Academy in 2018 and was the first music publisher to serve as chairman in the Academy’s history, in addition to serving on the ACM Lifting Lives board. On behalf of the ACM Board, ACM Lifting Lives Board, and the ACM staff, we send our condolences to Ben’s family, friends, coworkers, and all of those who crossed his path and were lifted up by his passion. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to one of our beloved ACM OnRamp Class Members, LARYSA JAYE. Her untimely passing has left a profound emptiness in our community. Larysa was a beacon of positivity, resilience, and determination in the pursuit of her dreams. We join countless others in Nashville in mourning her loss, and our thoughts are with her family, especially her four children, during this incredibly difficult time.
