American Idol season 7 runner-up David Archuleta gets in touch with nature in new music video released Friday (Nov. 18) for his song “Numb.
In the clip — directed by Dusty Barker (who also recently worked with fellow Idol alum Carrie Underwood) — the video captures Archuleta as he takes a stroll through Big East Fork, a working farm that offers a retreat for visitors seeking a natural sanctuary. The farm offers hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, horseshoe, yoga, farm animals and more.
“Wow, I can’t believe this song and video are actually out now!” Archuleta wrote on his Facebook page. “It came from such a real place for me. We shot the video outside and alone to capture what it feels like to connect with oneself. Sometimes you have to separate yourself from everything to connect to something deeper. I hope that you can feel that energy. Thanks so much for all the love!”
Archuleta’s Christmas tour kicks off in Utah on Nov. 25 with Nathan Pacheo. Tickets are available at his website.
