Announcing Our Partnership With Eleven Labs to Enable AI Voices and Voice Cloning in AI Videos Since we launched Augie into public beta in May, we’ve been heads-down focusing on our users - what do they love, hate, and feel indifferent about. We’ve had phenomenal user growth and very constructive product feedback along the way. Every day, more and more social media content promoters and other marketers are making Augie their go-to for creating social #videos. When we introduced #prompttovideo as an option, we were curious about the reception. After all, this is a brand new concept in content creation, and most people aren’t even aware companies like ElevenLabs, the leader in natural-sounding AI Voices, even exist! Prompt-to-video creation is now our #1 most used starting point for video creation. At the time, we had incorporated the initial set of AI Voices from Eleven Labs and our users immediately clamored for more. That is why I’m pleased to announce that Aug X Labs is partnering with Eleven Labs to introduce the first ever support for voice cloning in an AI Video creation tool! People are more likely to fall for fake news when it is presented as a video rather than text. Five experiments with over 2,000 participants showed that Deepfakes with audio generated by text-to-speech algorithms are harder to detect than those with voice actor audio. Research shows that humans rely more on audio and visual cues rather than just the speech content. #Deepfake How can we enhance media literacy to help people better discern deepfake videos from authentic ones?
