A timeline to recruit and hire the next SBCC superintendent/president has been established, and the formation of a 21-person candidate screening committee - who will will review applications, interview potential candidates and recommend finalists to the Board of Trustees - is underway.
The screening committee - comprised of representatives from the local community; the SBCC Foundation; and SBCC staff, faculty, and students - will be chaired by two SBCC trustees, yet to be selected. The Board selected the two community members at its Nov. 10 Board meeting.
