For fall of 2024 CommonVU Orientation will begin on Move-In Day, Saturday, August 17. The required CommonVU Orientation (August 17-24, 2024) offers activities and programs for first-year students to introduce you to the living-learning communities of your houses and The Ingram Commons, the faculties and academic classes of your schools, the norms and values of the Vanderbilt community, upper-division students and their organizations, and Nashville. Additionally, you will meet your student and faculty VUceptors who will serve as guides throughout your first semester at Vanderbilt. The 2024 CommonVU Orientation schedule will be posted around July 1.
