LINCOLN (June 10, 2022) - Nebraska Wesleyan head football coach,
Brian Keller, announced the addition of
Jonathan Zohlmann to the coaching staff. Zohlmann will coach the defensive line for the Prairie Wolves.Â
"I am excited to join the NWU football staff, I want to thank coach Keller for the opportunity to be a Prairie Wolf," stated Zohlmann. "I can't wait to get to work with the team and make a positive impact on them, both on the field and off the field."
Zohlmann comes to Nebraska Wesleyan after a successful playing career on the offensive line at Central College in Pella, Iowa, a fellow member of the American Rivers Conference. No stranger to success, Zohlmann was a member of two A-R-C championship teams with the Dutch. Central qualified for the NCAA Division III football playoffs twice in Zohlmann's career, which included a quarterfinal appearance last season.Â
A native of Knoxville, Iowa, Zohlmann attended Knoxville High School. In High School, Zohlmann played all four years in the trenches on the offensive and defensive line. Zohlmann graduated with a degree in Psychology from Central College in May 2022.Â
