Davenport publisher Lee Enterprises has announced plans to move out of its downtown corporate office.
Lee Enterprises has been located in the Mississippi Plaza building, 201 N. Harrison St., since 2004, according to a news release. The company will relocate to 4600 E. 53rd St., Davenport, which currently houses Russell Construction's headquarters.
The move will take place late next summer, according to the release.
"Mississippi Plaza is a beautiful facility, and it has served Lee Enterprises well," said Tim Millage, vice president, CFO and treasurer, in the release. "The new offices will allow for a more modern, open floor plan, which is much better suited for our company’s current and future needs."
Lee Enterprises operates newspapers, specialty publications and digital products in 49 markets and 21 states. Lee is the parent company of the Quad-City Times, Moline Dispatch/Rock Island Argus and Muscatine Journal.
