Call for Engineering Senior Design Projects
The Division of Engineering Programs is conducting a call for Senior Design Capstone project proposals for the 2021-2022 academic year. These senior design projects span two semesters and typically have a multidisciplinary team of 4 to 6 computer, mechanical and electrical engineering students.
We are looking for projects that will challenge students and provide them an opportunity to apply their technical knowledge to actual engineering problems. The final project will be presented at the Annual Engineering Design EXPO in May 2022.
The primary goal of the project proposal should be for our students to gain valuable practical experience while fulfilling your design needs. Your department will be expected to designate at least one employee who will regularly provide the resources, feedback, and advice to the Senior Design project team. Frequency, duration, and mode of communication will vary. Students can be expected to complete approximately 160 hours of work on the project.
