Contest Winners Get Halloween Treat

Screams of laughter filled the Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex as swarms of three-person teams rushed through the complex’s halls and over to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospitals as Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (CVM) students, faculty, and staff competed for prizes during the annual Halloween Meet-N-Treat Scavenger Hunt.

Winners of this year’s contest included second-year veterinary students Maria Granello, Annalis Cigarroa, Taylor Adams; second place went to graduate student Nicole Mehta, cardiovascular pathology resident Molly Friedemann, and research assistant Nick Edenhoffer; and third place went to second-year veterinary students Sarah Slack, Bailey Todd, and Amelia Gonzalez.

All nine winners received travel mugs from the CVM Marketplace.

As teams captured photos of themselves in front of CVM offices and landmarks—including the Biomedical Sciences Office, the new Veterinary Emergency Team medical unit donated by the Banfield Foundation, the Professional Programs Office, and the Legacy Bull Statue, among others—they were able to replenish their energy with holiday-themed snacks.
