Welcome to the official Origami Showcase website. This site houses the work of students in the course, GNM 2257 The Art and Math of Origami, at Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey.
Each Spring semester we host the showcase to highlight the Origami art created as part of the course. You'll find each year's art below. I hope you'll take time to peruse the students' efforts. We also welcome your feedback below!
Origami Showcase 2024- Voyage into the Ocean
Team displays
Students worked in small groups to develop and create the parts of this year's Voyage to the Ocean theme.

Origami Showcase 2023- Gardens
Click the highlights to the left to see Origami Showcase 2023- Gardens held on the Stockton University campus! The show features Origami art of students and a special student-selected and created theme display, gardens. Students worked in teams to make their displays including:
Veggie garden
Flowers & trees
Pond & water fountain
Bird bath & gnomes
Archway

Sketching out our ideas
Students spend an entire class session just determining a theme for our show. Each year is different and based on their interests. Once the idea is refined, we sketch out a concept and determine teams to make the show come to life.
Refining our ideas further
As we refined our ideas, we decided on teams to work on displays. We also thought it would be fun to have an archway to welcome everyone to our garden.
The end result
Our final vision came to life with a full-size archway that led you to an Origami-inspired backyard garden. Watch the video and see the showcase highlights above!
