Abby Lodge (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone) was voted to the
Google Cloud Academic All-District 2 Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Team and junior
Qudratullah Qadiri (Ocean Twp./Ocean Twp.) was selected to the
Google Cloud Academic All-District 2 Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Team.
The Academic All-District teams were chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Lodge is an Environmental Science major with a 3.93 GPA while Qadiri is an Exercise Science major with a 3.94 grade point average.
Lodge had an extremely successful career at Stockton. She earned NJAC All-Conference recognition seven times, with two Second Team honors and five Honorable Mention nods. Lodge earned her first individual honor this season with an Honorable Mention selection in the outdoor 400-meter run to go along with six all-conference accolades in relays.
Lodge qualified for a USTFCCA All-Region spot in the 4x400 meter relay during the 2017 outdoor season and competed in the prestigious Penn Relays three times. She earned eight varsity letters, four indoor and four outdoor, and registered nine career event wins.
The senior holds six school records, three each in indoor and outdoor track & field. She holds the record in the 200 meters, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay outdoors. For the indoor season, Lodge is the record holder for the 200 meters, 4x200 relay and 4x400 relay.
Qadiri also has had an outstanding career, earning four NJAC Second Team selections. He earned his honors in the outdoor pole vault in 2018 and 2019 plus 2018 indoor pole vault and 2017 decathlon. Qadiri also was voted NJAC Rookie of the Year for indoor track & field in 2017.
Qadiri was a 2019 Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar chosen by the publication Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. The junior had two wins in the pole vault this season and a victory in the 110-meter hurdles. A 2018 NJAC All-Academic Honorable Mention honoree, Qadiri has competed in 16 different individual events plus the decathlon and pentathlon in his career.
The Google Cloud Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Academic All-District honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America Team ballot, from which Academic All-America honorees will be selected in June.
