Migration Date for Non-Academic Courses (Special Programs, Continuing Education)
Non-academic course owners are now required to utilize New Quizzes. To assist your transition, explore our Migration Video and Migration Guide for a seamless transition.
Academic courses are NOT set to transition to New Quizzes yet.
New Quizzes functionality is available for anyone interested in using it in their courses. To access it, simply create a new quiz, and when the “Choose A Quiz Engine” popup box appears, select the “New Quizzes” option. For additional information on this and the various question types, please consult the New Quizzes Guide.

Known Issues With New Quizzes
There are currently a few known issues with New Quizzes that may impact you.
- Bulk migration of Classic Quizzes to New Quizzes on import will cause many to fail
- Images appear broken in Respondus Lockdown Browser
- Images shared to item banks can break if original course/item is deleted
- Incompatibility with requiring Lockdown Browser to review results with New Quizzes
- Screen Readers cannot navigate to the RCE for Essay Questions
