Rohr’s, inside the Morris Inn, has reopened for outdoor dining. Rohr’s unveiled its new dining room for in-person dining in July, following the restaurant’s renovation, and then closed a few weeks later as the University shifted to remote learning. Now, Rohr’s is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, outdoors, on the Wind Family Fireside Terrace. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Rohr’s also serves Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Even when Rohr’s was physically closed, the kitchen was not. Rohr’s maintained exceptional hospitality for campus, enticing students with food and beverage selections available for takeout through NDTOGO’s Grubhub app. Takeout is still available as the restaurant reopens for in-person outdoor dining.

Rohr’s also provides game day picnics for students, faculty and staff to order for the Fridays and Saturdays of home football game weekends. The boxes feature food for five people and a range of menu offerings, including a five-foot long sub, bagels and schmear, sliders and chicken wings. (Click for all picnic menu options.) Orders must be placed by Thursday at 2 p.m. of home football game weeks. Information is available on the Rohr’s website

In addition, Rohr’s has partnered with the Notre Dame Alumni Association and Notre Dame Family Wines to offer virtual wine tastings. These biweekly events feature wines from a catalog of vintners showcased in the 2020 Notre Dame Family Wines collection. Guests can tune in to hear stories of vintners such as Gallo Family Vineyards and Paul Hobbs, who have connections to Notre Dame, and then taste the featured wines, or enjoy something from their own personal collection. The next virtual wine tasting event will be Wednesday, September 30, at 7 p.m. EST. The event is free and can be accessed here

Be sure to check the Rohr’s website for the latest information on upcoming events, or to make a reservation.
