Stockton Dominates Kean 72-49

Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University (19-4, 13-3 NJAC) rolled to a 72-49 victory over Kean University (13-8, 8-8 NJAC) that was the third straight win and eighth in the last nine games for the Ospreys. All 16 players in uniform saw action for Stockton.
 
Kadian Dawkins (Eastampton/Rancocas Valley) led the way with a game-high 16 points plus four rebounds and four assists. DJ Campbell (Vineland/Vineland) tossed in 15 markers and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds for a double-double.
 
Alan Glover (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh), playing his final regular season home game on Senior Night, recorded his first career double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Kyion Flanders (Wildwood/Wildwood) tied his career high with 11 boards to go with a game-high six assists and five points.
 
Stockton broke the game open with a 15-2 run in the first half that resulted in a 33-16 advantage. Campbell sparked the outburst with eight points. Kean netted four free throws in the last minute of the half for a 33-20 count at the break.
 
Campbell finished with 10 first-half points followed by Glover and Dawkins with seven apiece as the trio accounted for 24 of their team's 33 markers in the period. The Ospreys went just 3-15 from three-point range (20%) but they were opportunistic at the line, shooting 6-7 (85.7%).
 
Stockton led by at least 11 points for the entire second half. A three-pointer by Milo De Los Santos (Hopewell Valley/Hopewell Valley) with 2:36 on the clock gave the Ospreys their biggest lead at 70-42, and they coasted to the 72-49 triumph.
 
Nate Lyles paced Kean with team highs of 12 points and seven rebounds while Terrance Durham contributed eight points for the Cougars.
 
Stockton will play its final two regular season games on the road, starting with a matchup against Rutgers-Newark, which is one game back of the Ospreys in the NJAC standings, on Saturday at 8 p.m.
