Daniel Do (Galloway/Absegami) and
Dino Gromitsaris (Bordentown/Bordentown) received ECAC monthly awards for September. Do was selected
ECAC Metro Runner of the Week in men's cross country. Gromitsaris was chosen
ECAC Metro Defensive Player of the Week in men's soccer.
Do was Stockton's top finisher in each of the three races that the Ospreys ran. He earned his first career victory by topping a field of 210 runners to win the Osprey Open with a time of 25:50.69 for eight kilometers. Do also finished fourth out of 53 runners in the Stockton Short Course Opener and sixth out of 42 in the TCNJ Invitational.
Gromitsaris started all 10 games in goal for the Ospreys during the first month of the season. The junior goalkeeper backstopped Stockton to a 7-1-2 record with 27 saves, three shutouts and a 0.63 goals against average. He also played in two combined shutouts.
Gromitsaris made a season-high eight saves in a 3-2 win over Kean on September 21 and also recorded six stops in a 1-0 upset victory over #17 Franklin & Marshall on September 4. He leads the NJAC in goals against average and is tied for the conference lead in shutouts.
