As previously announced, all SUNY New Paltz students, faculty and staff will need to be tested for COVID-19 every week that they are on campus beginning Monday, Feb. 8.
Students are only required to be tested once between Jan. 15 – Feb. 5, before the weekly testing requirement takes effect.
On-campus testing will be provided on a part-time basis this week from Feb. 1 – 5, to accommodate students who still have not submitted the negative test result they need in order to attend in-person classes and enter campus buildings this spring semester.
The Feb. 1–5 testing schedule is as follows (all testing will take place at Awosting Hall):
Monday, Feb. 1: 12 – 4 p.m. **Cancelled due to inclement weather**
Tuesday, Feb. 2: 12 – 4 p.m. **Cancelled due to inclement weather**
Wednesday, Feb. 3: 12 – 6 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 4: 12 – 4 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 5: Enzo Testing (appointment only – sign up here)
All students, faculty and staff will need to be tested every week that they are on campus beginning Monday, Feb. 8. We will expand our testing hours and capacity that week to fulfill SUNY’s weekly testing requirement.
Effective Feb. 8, testing will be provided from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday – Thursday, with the first hour (9-10 a.m.) for employees only. Friday testing by Enzo Labs will be available by appointment only (sign up here).
We ask members of our community to please make an effort to adhere to this schedule for weekly testing after Feb. 8, in order to reduce overcrowding at our testing site:
