Film Screening in A.C.: ‘Who Will Write Our History’

Atlantic City, N.J. – The critically acclaimed Holocaust documentary “Who Will Write Our History,” which focuses on the Warsaw Ghetto, will be shown at the Stockton University Atlantic City Academic Center, 3711 Atlantic Ave., at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.

The screening is free and open to the public. Two professional development hours are available to N.J. educators.

In 1940, days after the Nazis sealed 450,000 Jews in the Warsaw Ghetto, a secret band of journalists, scholars and community leaders decided to fight back. "Who Will Write Our History" mixes the writings of the Oyneg Shabes archive with new interviews, rarely seen footage, and stunning dramatizations to transport the viewer inside the Warsaw Ghetto and the lives of the courageous resistance fighters.

This event is sponsored by the Sam Azeez Museum of Heritage of Stockton University, the Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies (MAGH) program, and the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center.
