I am very pleased to launch the ServiceNow 2024 Nonprofit Digital Transformation Report – an examination of how nonprofits are #PuttingAIToWork to further their missions.    It's a milestone moment for ServiceNow.org. This work reflects our purpose in action and our commitment to breaking down barriers to access: access to technology, to resources, and to knowledge – barriers that separate the world as it is from the world it could be.    The research surveyed 300 nonprofit leaders worldwide who told us that digitization is reshaping the sector and nonprofits are at a crucial moment. 92% recognize the value digital transformation presents, but they’re unsure how to take advantage with only 53% of senior leaders understanding the latest advancements.    For nonprofits, AI is still in the experimental stage, with only 10% of nonprofit executives leveraging the full transformational value of AI aligned to an integrated vision, but most say it will completely transform their operations down the road.    Thank you to ServiceNow’s Thought Leadership team led by Richard McGill Murphy. I don’t have a crystal ball when it comes to AI and work. I have something better. Having run a tech services company here in the Atlanta area for the last 20 years, I can say while things change, a whole lot can be predictive. Especially one thing: We as leaders and as an industry need to get better at both meeting and anticipating our clients’ needs. Here’s what I’m focusing on as 7 core levers to help us do just that: 1. From Fixing to Strategizing: It’s time to change the narrative. We’ve always been seen as the people who fix things when they break. But that’s just scratching the surface. The future of IT services is about moving beyond maintaining systems and tech and into playing a strategic role in shaping clients’ success. I’m talking about being proactive, not just reactive. 2. Balance and Relevance: Our mission is to use our abilities and technology to have a positive impact on the lives of our clients, employees and community. This means balancing the services we offer so we don’t become just another commodity. We need to design our solutions to stay relevant and valuable, positioning ourselves as strategic partners—not just service providers. 3. Embracing Collaboration: The current workforce demands superior collaboration capabilities. I’m talking everything from seamless file sharing, effective communication tools to integrating new tech without much disruption. We as MSPs are really at the forefront of knowing how collaboration impacts a business. 4. Anticipating Needs: As AI keeps showing us, the pace of technology is evolving rapidly. And so must we. Our job is to anticipate and adapt to these changes, making sure the clients we serve are always a step ahead at minimum. 5. Client-Centric Communication: Engaging with clients the right way from Day 1 is crucial. How they experience us must point back to who we are as a company, understanding our core values and communicating them well. This means we can’t sleep on any touchpoint, from how we show up here on LinkedIn, to the first sales call and, we hope, to how they are served once they become a client. It all needs to feel congruent and consistent while reflecting our vision, values and identity as a company. 6. Knowing Our Ideal Client: I can’t overstate this enough, probably because I’ll admit that in the early stages of Logic Speak, we practically took any business from any client we could get. As we’ve matured, it’s vital to know our ICP like the back of our hands, and be selective. This ensures we build meaningful, strategic relationships that align with not only our mission internally, but how we can serve them well externally. 7. Continuous Learning and Adaptation: If we are committed to serving well, we simply must continually learn, adapt and refine our services to meet evolving client needs. This is what we all signed up for. It’s what our clients demand from us and, frankly, it’s what we should demand of ourselves.

An excerpt from the interview. “process optimization is about improving the speed, accuracy, or efficiency of current processes. But modern AI technologies allow you to transform certain processes on a more fundamental level. So, for example, you could choose to optimize an existing process around managing disability claims by using AI to automate certain steps in that process. But it’s also possible to innovate on a more fundamental level by using AI to access more data in real time to evaluate and even help adjudicate those claims automatically.”

My wife recently started using Vultron after I told her to check it out. She stated she wanted to get back to work supporting proposals, writing, or providing recruiting services. She has made a view post on her company page about it. Although I am not as knowledgeable about the tool, it is helping her with her current client(s). One thing I think is cool is the integrated Sam.gov search feature; you can seamlessly move government documents from Sam.gov to your project folder to begin your proposal development. #proposalmanagement #GenAI #GenerativeAi
