Belton
Donia Campbell Coward Malone, 90, wife of Dan Malone, resident of Clement Road, entered
into rest Wednesday October 19, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born on March 22, 1932 in Belton to the late Earl and Sara Vera Stowe Campbell, she was a
graduate of Belton High School and retired from Rice Mills. She was Co-Owner of the Belton
News and Printing Company. She was twice married, first to the late Joe Coward.
A faithful member of Belton Church of God, she loved to sing in the choir. She was a fantastic
cook, and loved farming, gardening, and doing yard work.
Surviving are her children, Benny Coward, Evelyn Moore and her husband Herbert, all of
Belton; her sister, Laura Holliday of Belton; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was
predeceased by her brother, Bud Campbell.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 PM from the Belton Church of God with Rev.
Norman Black and Rev. Anthony Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of
Memories.
The family is at the home of Herbert & Evelyn Moore, 610 Trail Road, and will receive friends
Thursday Evening from 6 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home.
