Supervisor Enhancements to the Ski & Ride School Experience with Lesson Connect
Hello Vail Ski & Snowboard School Leadership Team,  

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to our new team members joining us this winter, as well as a heartfelt welcome back to our returning leaders. We’re excited to kick off winter operations in just a few weeks! With dropping temperatures, changing leaves, and the first signs of snow appearing on the high peaks, we are starting to get excited for winter.

Over the past month, we shared updates on the instructor and guest views for Ski & Ride School features in the My Epic App.

Now, we’re thrilled to give you an exclusive first look at the supervisor view within the My Epic App, packed with tools designed to make your day smoother, faster, and more connected. These digital features will improve class management, lesson assignment, morning line-up activity, and end-of-day progress reporting.

Class Management
Supervisor Highlights:
  • View daily guest inventory list 
  • Build lessons and add students quickly 
  • Access all class assignments in real time throughout the day 
  • Filter and sort your classes 
  • View student history

Active Lesson Oversight
Supervisor Highlights:  
  • Filter lunch counts per location 
  • Wellness: Check-in/out toggle 
  • Accurate child descriptions and photos so you always know critical information about students in case of emergency 
  • Move students between groups on behalf of your instructor team

End of Day Management
Supervisor Highlights:
  • Manage instructor check-out and track task completion
  • Track student achievements and instructor notes 
  • View Skill Review Completion for your instructor team
  • View instructor photos shared with guests in the app

This is just a glimpse into the supervisor view – more details are coming as development continues. Training will be built into onboarding and winter ramp-up to support you and your teams in delivering a great guest experience.  

Next steps: As you gear up to lead your teams this winter, feel free to reference back to these updates. Once you’re in your winter role, you’ll be expected to train for ownership of the new digital experience, ask questions for understanding, and stay connected to all app development changes as Lesson Connect evolves. You will also play a critical role in being a Lesson Connect champion to ensure a continuous feedback loop! 

Your leadership will be essential in making the new ski and snowboard school digital experience a success!
