Each player is asked to fundraise or pay at least $1,000. Our fundraising goal this year for the Golf Marathon is $20,000 to benefit Young Life ministry in Durham, Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Pittsboro.
After you register with this form you will receive a donation page link to share and gather sponsorships for the golf marathon!

1. How does the golf marathon work?
3 person teams playing 6 competitions throughout the day. Each golfer has their own cart.
(1) warm up hole + (5) 18 hole competitions + (1) 9 hole competition = 100 holes
2. How does the payment/fundraising work?
Send your donation page to friends and family and ask them to sponsor your golf marathon! Think $50 = 50 cents a hole, $100 = 1 dollar a hole, $150 = $1.50 a hole, $200= 2 dollars a hole, $300= 3 dollars a hole. Online donations via personal donation link sent to you from DCH YL (donations tracked via Google sheet). Or checks made out to Young Life and mailed to PO Box 4621Chapel Hill, NC 27515*Any donation from a non-golfer towards the golfer's cause is tax deductible $25 or more. Payment made by golfers are tax-deductible after $225 (golf related fees= $200).
3. What food is provided? Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Snacks and beverages provided throughout tournament
4. What prizes are offered throughout tournament? Awarded for team and individual competitions that make up marathon.
Example: 18 Hole Team Alternating Shot, Captain's Choice, Best Ball, Closest to the Pin, and Long/Short drive prizes.
