"Fix You" has always been one of my favorite songs. I’ve wanted to create my own version for years, but I knew it had to be done right—with the right people, the right sound, and the right moment.

 

When I met Staarz, the vision started to come together. I could hear her voice opening the song—soft, haunting, beautiful—and then imagined Stanaj coming in and doing what only he can do. The contrast between them created something really unique, and special.

 

We ended up filming it on stage with a 50-piece orchestra, a 100-person choir, all the lighting and production—it felt massive. The video turned out stunning. It honestly feels like one of the biggest, most meaningful things I’ve ever been a part of in 30 years of making music. Definitely in my top 5.

 

And here’s the crazy part—we released it on June 7th, 2025 …the exact 20th anniversary of when Coldplay released Fix You on their X&Y album. Total full-circle moment.

 

This is our tribute to them. To the song. And to the power of music to connect people across time.
