American Football Announce First New Album in 17 Years, Share New Song: Listen

American Football, the pioneering Illinois emo band, have announced their first album in 17 years. Like their 1999 debut, the new LP is also titled American Football. It’s out October 21 via Polyvinyl in the U.S. and Wichita in the UK and Europe. Listen to the lead single “I've Been So Lost For So Long” below, and also find the album’s artwork and tracklist. Steve Holmes, Mike Kinsella, Nate Kinsella, and Steve Lamos recorded the album earlier this year at ARC Studios in Omaha and SHIRK Studios in Chicago. It was produced by the band and Jason Cupp. American Football originally reunited in 2014, after a 15-year break.
