We are pleased to announce that on April 24th, two new clinical pathways went live. New to emergency medicine, the Sexual Assault, Adult, pathway is now available which includes guidance on initial evaluation and disposition. The Sexual Assault pathway provides consideration for women who may be pregnant and links to Sexually Transmitted Infections, Diagnosis, and Treatment pathway.
For inpatient hospitalists, the Atrial Fibrillation and Flutter, Adult pathway provides guidance on evaluation, anticoagulation, rate control, rhythm control, and atrial flutter. The pathway has also incorporated FHIR elements, which allows users to view laboratory test results directly in the pathway.
To learn more about clinical pathways, please reach via email to AgileMD Clinical Pathways. To provide feedback on a specific pathway, use the blue feedback link at the bottom of the AgileMD tab in Epic.

AgileMD clinical pathways are intended to translate clinical processes of care into our unique BJC/WUSM environment/culture. The goal for these pathways built by clinicians for clinicians is to standardize the care provided to patients across our system, in line with evidenced-based medicine, and help us realize efficiencies in the delivery of care.
Providers may access clinical pathways either through the patient’s storyboard BPA, which fires for pathway specific logic, or by accessing the AgileMD tab from the More Activities menu. By favoriting the tab, the AgileMD tab will be available for easier access, see the Hip Tip Sheet for detailed instructions.
