If Adele were from the south, her name would be Camille Rae.

The country recording artist is getting ready to release her sophomore album Come Find Me this spring, and Celeb Secrets Country has the scoop on what to expect from it.

“[Come Find Me] will consist of songs that tell a story of my life over the past year,” Rae told Celeb Secrets Country exclusively in an interview. “I like for my albums to tell a story that not only helps others with what they’re going through, but also helps me to process things, heal and move on.”

The record, out March 17th, is as deeply reflective as it is artistic, since Camille either wrote or co-wrote seven of the fourteen tracks.

“Up until recently I had written all my own music. I have started working with other writers and finding songs outside of my own catalog this past year,” Camille says. “As far as what inspires me to write? Well, I definitely get material from personal experiences and emotions. I like to write about the things that people keep hidden and never talk about. I also love listening to new music and getting ideas from other artists and writers, especially when I’m in the car listening to music on tour.”

Originally from Mount Vernon, Ky., Rae has been sharing her talent with all whom would listen since the age of three. At 12, Rae began to craft her own songs and was a member of the Kentucky All-State Choir. She went on to complete her musical education at University of the Cumberlands and taught choir before focusing on her own artistry. Since 2012, Rae has opened for notable acts like The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, David Cook, Maddie and Tae, and more.

“My favorite part about being an artist is definitely performing live,” she says. “I am at home on the stage…probably even more so that I’m at home anywhere else in my life. I get to share my love for music, my skills as an artist, my original music and my take on cover songs, and I basically get the chance to bear my soul to my audiences. It is a liberating thing to be able to do that and it be accepted. Music is a magical and powerful thing and I am blessed to have the opportunity to share who I am through my music and artistry.”

Come Find Me features Camille’s Music Row charting single “But I Want You,” “I Need Me,” and “Pinky Promise.” Keep up with Camille Rae by following her on Twitter at @camilleraemusic and listen to her music below.
