After receiving his PhD from Vanderbilt University in the department of Biological Sciences, he started with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation before setting out on his own so that he could more effectively help those in need. In addition, this allowed Dr. Warren to continue his research, teaching and consulting, harkening back to his training at Vanderbilt. Dr. Warren has most recently joined the faculty at Union University as an adjunct professor to instruct their new degree program in forensic science. In his free time, Dr. Warren can be found in Whiteville, TN jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.
