Adult Formation Classes

Being formed into the image and likeness of Christ is not something that stops with graduation from high school. It is a life-long journey. During our program year from September through May, we offer a range of opportunities for adults at 10am on Sunday mornings and during the week.

  • Spring Adult formation

THe church finding its way in a city in flux

Sundays  at 10:00 a.m. in Wallace Hall

    April 7 - May 12

Join Fr. Josh in our Spring Formation class, in which he explores Paul's initial letter to the Corinthian church. This letter, written three years after the church's establishment, serves as both a pastoral and theological plea to be a cohesive community amid an ever-changing world. In this class, we examine Paul’s letter in its context, grasping his genuine concerns for the church and contemplating how his concepts remain relevant today.

Women's Bible Study

Beginning August, 31

Thursdays, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Thursday women’s Bible study will start meet each week from 9:30-11:30 am.

We will be studying the Gospel of Luke using N. T. Wright’s Luke for Everyone (the thicker book, not the “Bible study guide”).

It is available for purchase in our bookstore or anywhere you buy books. Feel free to join us regardless of the amount of preparation you’re able to put in. This multigenerational gathering is open to all women of any walk of life and at any point of the faith journey. We’ll reflect, discuss, and pray for each other and the world.

With prior registration, there is childcare available for kids not yet in kindergarten.

For more information or to register for childcare, contact Gretchen Abernathy at Gretchen.abernathy@gmail.com.

Small Groups

Small groups are committed, intentional micro-communities exploring God in our lives. We believe that life groups allow us to be more deeply connected to God and each other.

We seek to create inter-generational groups, with a good mix of ages and experiences with church and matters of faith. Groups meet for 1.5 hours each week for 8 weeks, with an option to continue, and you need to be able to make at least 6 of the 8 sessions.  A women's group and a men's group will begin in early fall 2023.
