TechnologyAdvice plants new tech hub near fairgrounds

TechnologyAdvice, a Nashville tech firm, is transforming its new space into a Nashville tech center with the addition of two organizations — Nashville Technology Council and Nashville Software School.

The company's new location is the former home of the Tennessee Hospital Association, located off Nolensville Pike near the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.TechnologyAdvice, led by CEO Rob Bellenfant, moved into the building in October.

“We’re very excited about what the new building offers us in terms of room and location, but we’ve also got bigger plans for this space,” Bellenfant said in a prepared statement. “The goal is to turn 500 Interstate Boulevard into a technology hub for Nashville.”

Nashville Software School: One solution to tech shortage

Nashville Software School is a fast-growing nonprofit offering coding classes. The organization has been operating off Plus Park Boulevard. The Nashville Technology Council, also a nonprofit, brings together the city's technology-related organizations and has been based at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center.

TechnologyAdvice advises companies on technology solutions and connects buyers and sellers of tech services. The company also plans to use its space for the monthly tech-oriented meetup, NashCocktail.
