The newly launched Intercultural Student Engagement Center (ISEC) is UTA’s home for education, engagement, and support that promotes all students. ISEC aims to create opportunities for students to build social connections, engage with academic support resources, and participate in leadership development.
The ISEC is a hub where students can find the support they need to realize their goals and complete their academic journeys. All students will have access to peer mentoring, academic coaching, tutoring, drop-in counseling hours, and various student skill-building workshops.
In addition, ISEC will provide advising and guidance. Two newly formed groups—the Intercultural Student Programming Council and the Interfaith Council—will bolster these efforts. Other services, programming, and volunteer opportunities include cultural heritage months and celebrations, support for student organizations, professional and personal development seminars, wellness resources, and more.
