Arlington, TX – February 21, 2024 – The world’s top teams will compete in the women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in Arlington, Texas May 28-June 2 for the last major volleyball event before the Paris Olympics and the only VNL games in the USA this year. Teams to include the reigning Olympic Champions USA as they look to redeem themselves after coming in 4th in 2023, Volleyball Nations League 2023 Champions, Türkiye, along with Canada, Korea, Germany, Serbia, Bulgaria and Poland. The Volleyball Nations League is the premier annual global volleyball tournament which sees 16 national teams per gender compete over 8 action-packed weeks throughout Asia and North and South America. North Texas will host week 2 at College Park Center in Arlington from May 28-June 2.

The USA Womens team took the Volleyball Nations League by storm when the competition was launched in 2018. After winning gold in Nanjing, China at the Finals of the first edition, coach Karch Kiraly’s team also claimed victory at the next two tournaments in 2019 and 2021. That amazing winning streak was interrupted in 2022, when USA lost to Serbia in the quarterfinals. In 2023 at College Park in Arlington, USA fought hard to make it to the VNL finals where they experienced a loss to Poland to come in 4^th overall, but the reigning Olympic champions are sure to be among the favorites for 2024.
