The INCubator, NovaCopy and ModernTech will educate manufacturers about 3D printing at 3D Printing: Beyond the Hype, a free interactive seminar on Aug. 21 at the Hamilton County BDC’s INCubator from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Chattanooga is on the cusp of innovation and this seminar will allow manufacturers in the city to plunge deeper into the latest technology,” said Kathryn Foster, director of Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the INCubator.
Throughout the day, panelists will discuss the benefits and obstacles of additive manufacturing, commonly referred to as 3D printing. Astec Burner Group, Variable, Inc., 3D Operations, Inc., Branch Technology, Newcomb Spring of Tennessee and Feetz will share their expertise as part of various panels.
3D printing expert Graham Bredemeyer, principal consultant of Reality A.M. Partners, will give a keynote addressing the most popular additive technologies and how to use them.
“I’m here to share the realities of 3D printing and help businesses make sense of when it’s practical to use this technology,” Mr. Bredemeyer said.
Attendees will also tour the INCubator’s 3D printing facilities.
