UT grad programs ranked among best in nation by U.S. News & World Report

• U.S. News & World Reports ranked several UT graduate programs as some of the best in the country in 2020.
• The school's printmaking and supply chain programs topped the charts.
• The rankings put UT closer to the "Top 25" title it has been working towards.

The University of Tennessee has already received good marks from U.S. News & World Report's most recent ranking on graduate school programs.

UT's new chancellor, Donde Plowman, touted the results on her Twitter account. 

U.S. News & World Report rankings

• The school's graduate printmaking program was named No. 2 in the country, beating Rhode Island School of Design and School of the Art Institute of Chicago. 
• Supply chain jumped up two rankings since last year and is No. 3 for 2020. The program topped well-known schools like Carnegie Mellon University and Stanford University. 
• UT's nuclear engineering is ranked 7th alongside schools like Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the University of California - Berkeley. 
• The law clinical training program is No. 9, just below Georgetown University, American University, New York University (NYU) and some Ivy League colleges.  
• UT's information science graduate program ranked 14th and the master of fine arts degree landed at 15th. 

In addition to the accolades from U.S. News & World Report, Plowman shared some more good news from the National Endowment for the Humanities. 

The school ranked No. 9 in fellowships from the National Endowment, tying with University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and passing Harvard University and UC Berkeley. 

"I like that company," Plowman tweeted. 

These rankings put UT on the leader board on their race to being one of the top 25 public universities and put the school in competition with other high-performing institutions.
